Becoming an official

Do you think you, or someone you know, have what it takes to be a PIAA high school soccer

official?

The Tri-Valley Chapter of PIAA Soccer Officials is always looking to recruit residents in and around the counties we serve who have a love of the game and good soccer knowledge.  We are

seeking quality men and women, who are over the age of 18, to join our chapter to serve the high school student athletes in and around our area.

You can block dates you are not available to officiate. Officiating even just one or two days a week would be a great help to the Chapter. 

Why officiate high school soccer? For some, it’s a way of staying involved in a sport they grew up playing. For others, it’s a way to stay involved in a game they love and pay it forward by officiating for the student-athletes who play the game today. It’s also a great way to get exercise, stay active, work with friends, make new friends, learn to work as a team on the field with fellow officials, and make a little extra money. Officiating is not for the faint of heart. It challenges you athletically, requires calm demeanor and decisive thinking, and means "sticking to your guns."

No matter what the reasons you choose to officiate, it boils down to one thing – the love of the

game!
